A Broadband Reconfigurable Frequency-Selective Surface in Terahertz Band Based on Different Metal-Insulator Transition Temperature of VO<sub>2</sub>

In this paper, a broadband reconfigurable frequency-selective surface (FSS) in terahertz band based on different metal-insulator transition (MIT) temperature of vanadium dioxide (VO2) is proposed. By using MIT VO2, the design FSS realized. The results show that center frequency 2.15 THz and when lower than 60℃, relative bandwidth 74.19%. When between 60℃ 72℃, 55.59%. Above 33.78%. has broad application prospects other emerging fields such as regulation communication.
